Director's Notes
The Laundromat is about one woman's desperate bid to survive the end of the world ultimate horror, with a little ingenuity, a strong sense of self-preservation and a hot iron.
By definition this is zombie movie, but thematically it's a very personal story in the face of apocalypse. The undead made for a common horror film backdrop that allowed me to push our hero to her emotional brink within in a short time frame. A drastic event calls for even more drastic measures if she wants to live.
The intent of The Laundromat is to inspire viewers to consider one thing: How far would you go to live in the face of death?
